• ▼ What's unique about your process?
  Our sales rep will provide an in-home consultation, show you the options, and give you a written price. Every window is custom-made to fit the opening and installed inside the existing jambs, header, and sills, then fully insulated with low-expanding spray foam and caulked with silicone inside and out. We pull the building permit for the homeowner, and permit fees are included in our price. Quotes come with a 30-day price lock.
• ▼ What are the most common window issues you get called about?
  Drafty windows and high heating bills are the big ones. On doors it's drafts, doors that are hard to open or close, and doors that are dented, warped or worn out.
• ▼ What are the most common DIY mistakes?
  Not pulling a building permit, missing the code rule that glass within 18 inches of the floor has to be tempered, and not following lead-safe rules on homes built before 1978.
• ▼ Warning signs you need new windows or doors?
  Water coming in through the window is the big one. Don't wait on that. Other signs are drafts you can feel, heating and cooling bills creeping up, windows or doors that are hard to open, close or lock, and visible damage or warping.
   
• ▼ How long does the typical window replacement take?
  Custom windows usually take about 6 to 8 weeks to arrive after the order. Most installs are done in 1 to 3 days on site, depending on the size of the job. The town permit, special shapes, or tempered glass, or any rot we find can change that.
